GO GREEN

Want to GO GREEN and don't know where to begin...

Use Recycled Paper
  • Choose chlorine-free paper with post-consumer fiber.
  • When recycled paper first came to the marketplace it was brown in color, and now it is nearly indistinguishable from virgin-fiber papers. With the introduction of coated recycled paper to the marketplace, your Stationary, Marketing Collaterals, Banners, and Packaging will not be sacrificed in quality. Our facilities warehouse recycled papers and packaging materials to keep prices down so all of our clients can GO GREEN and not break the bank.
Use Materials Wisely
  • Design your next project with less paper or packaging materials.
  • Avoid non-standard sizes for your projects. You can save material and be less wasteful by getting the maximum number of copies from each sheet.
  • Always try to use both sides of a sheet.
  • We have a staff of designers ready to help design your packaging and printed materials in the most effective manner using less paper, less material, less ink and less pollution.
  • Contact us today to help design a more eco-friendly product.
Use Environmentally Friendly Inks
  • Use inks that contain lower VOC's (Volatile Organic Compounds) than Petroleum based ones. Volatile Organic Compounds are emitted as gases which can have short and long term health effects.
  • Our manufacturing facilities are committed to our environment and only use vegetable based inks.
  • Minimize the ink coverage on a piece. Less ink = less make ready time on a press run and less material wasted.
  • Use water based coatings instead of UV coatings so that you have the ability to recycle the piece later.
Certification
  • Choose a printer that's FSC certified.
    • FSC certification provides our customers with a simple solution to the complex environmental and social issue of forest management. Our customers can now choose to specify that their presentation materials are made with FSC certified papers, supporting good forestry practices, water resource management and the communities located near forests.
  • The Forest Stewardship Council
    • Prohibits conversion of natural forests or other habitat around the world.
    • Prohibits the use of highly hazardous pesticides around the world.
    • Prohibits the cultivation of genetically modified trees (GMOs), respects the right of indigenous peoples around the world.
    • Controls each certified operation at least once a year
